Quality Inspector Job Description

Job Summary:

Innovive LLC, a high-growth manufacturing company serving the Biomedical Research community is currently seeking a full-time Quality Inspector to join our team. The quality inspector will check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products as well as production procedures. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. We will provide on the job training for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, hard-working environment with the potential to grow with our company. Quality department employees play a critical role in the daily Operations by controlling the quality of our products and processes that support our client base. Job Description:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for a broad range of activities including:

  • Perform inspection on all incoming goods according to Quality Control Plan and Engineering provided drawings
  • Approve or reject raw materials/incoming goods with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
  • Follow and regularly review company compliance with GMP/GLP standards
  • Lead quality audits of manufacturing areas: inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
  • Manage quarantine area and segregation of non-conforming product
  • Perform and record daily quality checks on production lines
  • Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day, etc.
  • Conduct safe operation of forklift, electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Control documentation and location of hazardous materials
  • Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
  • Assist as needed in other quality initiatives

Required Experience, Skills and Core Competencies:

  • Experience reading an interpreting engineering drawings
  • Ability to use basic quality tools such as calipers, pin gauges, MagnaMike
  • Familiarity with cGMP
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role
  • A keen eye for detail and results driven approach
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
  • Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with or training in Hazmat is preferred
  • High School Degree; further qualifications will be a plus
  • Background in engineering, mathematics or other science, preferred

Compensation:

  • Salary commensurate with experience and highly competitive within industry

Driver/Recycling Operator Job Description

Job Summary:

Innovive, a high-growth manufacturing company serving the Biomedical Research community is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated and reliable individual for our growing recycling program in Billerica, MA.

Essential Duties:

  • Drive to and pick up recyclables at customers sites
  • Interface with Customers when needed
  • Operate loader, forklift and other related equipment
  • Maintain pick up and processing documentation
  • Perform related work as required
  • Maintain company premises and vehicles in good order
  • Assist picking and packing sales orders and other warehouse related duties
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jack and forklift

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's license with a good driving record
  • Comfortable driving a box truck in the Boston area
  • Knowledge and experience with general use of tools, equipment and machinery
  • Can do attitude
  • Knowledge of general hazards and safety precautions associated with this position and willing to follow safety guideline at all time
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Knowledge and use of personal protective equipment as required, including a respirator for extended periods of time
  • Ability to properly lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment while standing for extended periods

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school level of education required
  • Experience driving a 16ft – 24ft box truck
