BPA-Free Cages

BPA (Bisphenol A) is a difunctional building block of several important plastics and plastic additives that has shown to have harmful effects on laboratory animals. BPA is found in nearly all traditional washable rodent caging solutions, since it allows cages to withstand high-temperature wash and sterilization.

Innovive disposable cages, on the other hand, are BPA-free and made of 100% PET plastic.
